Happy Holidays! "This is the Wonder", and "That Holiday Feeling"

"This is the Wonder" was commissioned by the pianist extraordinaire Tim De Prey this year. His new Christmas Album "This is the Wonder" includes this piece. Tim's exquisite performance adds perfect amount of excitement and sentiment to this piece.

Here is the second Holiday piece. This is a snippet of a piece I transcribed for a chorus in Nevada. It’s a karaoke track of “That Holiday Feeling! " (Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme / Bill Jacob/PattyJacob)”. Put you in a nostalgic Holiday mood. Enjoy!

I hope you are enjoying the summer.
The song for summer is "Painting On A Summer Day".

Once I had a neighbor who was a wonderful painter. Her favorite place to paint was on the balcony of her 3rd floor apartment. This song captures her spirit of quiet exploration as she delved into her world of beautiful colors and images.

Set The Sun - Adaptation from Icarus

SET THE SUN

SET THE SUN is loosely adapted from the Greek legend of Icarus, whose father was architect of the labyrinth that imprisoned the monstrous Minotaur, and built artificial wings that allowed his son to escape to safety. The flight of Icarus remains one of the most iconographic images of aspiration.
