Short Film

Excerpt from "A Brief Conversation"
Provided a short piano piece to a film by Ann Prim,  a filmmaker and photographer.
"A Brief Conversation" is a story of a woman painter (Thea) who has stopped painting due to depression.

Composer-Librettist Studio - Nautilus Music Theater , 2014

"Opportunity Knocks"
A ten-minute musical.
Words: Monica Raymond
Music: Gregory Theisen
Performed by: KrisAnne Weiss / Rick Penning
"So Long Since I Slept Though The Night"
Writer's Note (by Dr. William Reichard, HECUA): "I've always been drawn to the narrative quality of Edward Hopper's paintings. They're full of mystery and stories that beg to be told. This song is based on Hopper's "Nighthawks" and is the first of what I hope will be a series of songs built upon Hopper's beautiful visual architecture."
Words: William Reichard
Music: Gregory Theisen
Performed by: KrisAnne Weiss
"Wooden Maria"
Writer's Note (by Daniel Dukich): Using different forms of clapping games and nursery-rhymes, this song tells the mythical tale of a princess and her travels.
Words/Performance: Daniel Dukich
Background Music/Sound Effect:  Gregory Theisen
