SET THE SUN is loosely adapted from the Greek legend of Icarus, whose father was architect of the labyrinth that imprisoned the monstrous Minotaur, and built artificial wings that allowed his son to escape to safety. The flight of Icarus remains one of the most iconographic images of aspiration.
