I hope you are enjoying the summer.
The song for summer is "Painting On A Summer Day". Once I had a neighbor who was a wonderful painter. Her favorite place to paint was on the balcony of her 3rd floor apartment. This song captures her spirit of quiet exploration as she delved into her world of beautiful colors and images. The whimsical cool summer greeting illustration is courtesy of Yoshiya Miwa-san (Yoshiya Miwa), Tokyo based artist. Hope you enjoy this. Here is my arrangement of “This Little Light Of Mine” originally written by Harry Dixon Loes around 1920. I had small hands (and nimble fingers) in mind so I kept out octaves in this arrangement. My friends at Nativity will mostly recognize this since it is played often. It was fun working it out some extra things with it.
